Disney Tinkerbell Movie Exceeds Expectations
If you love fairy tales, you will love Tinkerbell Movie. Tinkerbell is a 2008 computer animated film based on the Disney Fairies franchise being produced by DisneyToon Studios. The digitally animated character of Tinker Bell and other fairies appearing in the film were featured in Disney Channel bumpers in which they would draw the channel’s logo with their wands.
In the movie, when Tinker Bell is born, she discovers that she is destined to be a Tinker fairy; one who invents gadgets to help fairies do their jobs more efficiently, but she is disappointed with her supporting role and yearns for a more impressive job. Tinker Bell is born from the first laugh of a newborn baby, and is brought by the winds to Pixie Hollow (which is part of the island of Never Land). She meets the other fairies and learns that her talent is to be a tinker, the fairies that make and fix things. As you can imagine, Tink’s early time at Pixie Hollow is filled with figuring out who she really is and that she is just as important as the other fairies who have more glamorous talents.
For the very first time in film, Tinker Bell opens the doors to Pixie Hollow, a secret hideaway deep in the heart of Never Land, where the Disney Fairies make their home. Pixie Hollow is a land where fairies constantly create and improve upon the beauty of the four seasons and prepare to bring the changing seasons to the mainland. Tinkerbell is such a cute character as are the other fairies, I sometimes forgot they weren’t real. And of course you know that pixie dust is what lets the fairies accomplish their magic in the world of children. Tinker Bell, like other fairies, can make it possible for others to fly, by sprinkling them with fairy dust.
As you can imagine, Tink’s early time at Pixie Hollow is filled with figuring out who she really is and that she is just as important as the other fairies who have more glamorous talents. And within a special place called PIXIE HOLLOW fairies of every talent practice their magical abilities and prepare for the change of seasons.
I think it’s so cute that Tinkerbell is trailed by small amounts of pixie dust when she moves, and this dust can help humans fly if they believe it will. This movie magic is the kind of thing that allows kids to really use their imagination and explore the fun of being young and carefree.
All in all, tinkerbell movie is outstanding and of course appropriate for all audiences. We enjoyed it so much that it’s now in our video library and is being viewed on a fairly regular basis. We are all looking forward to the sequels to this fantastic movie.
